Hey guys,
I’m Sasan, a passionate nature photographer and videographer who often spends weeks on the road in his camper van to capture the most beautiful and remote places. In recent years, the LFP batteries (LifePo4) from Supervolt in combination with a powerful solar system have absolutely revolutionized my life and work on the road. In fact, there are quite a few points that are very important to me!
1. feeling of endless energy
There’s nothing worse than realizing in the middle of an epic photo moment that you’ve run out of power. I used to have constant problems with the old lead-acid batteries. They were heavy, broke quickly and often had to be replaced. Since I switched to LFP batteries from Supervolt I no longer have these worries. These things last forever! Over several thousand charging cycles – which means I can be on the road for many years without having to think about replacement batteries. Simply perfect for someone who is often far away from civilization. Laptop, equipment, ventilation, power banks, fridge – I can charge everything in my VW bus, which has been converted for off-road use!
2. light and compact - more space for my equipment
As a photographer, I lug a lot of equipment around with me: cameras, lenses, tripods, drones and whatnot. The limited space in the camper is therefore always an issue. The old batteries were heavy and bulky, but the new LFP batteries are light and compact. This means I have more space for my photo equipment and less weight to lug around. A real game changer! In total 200AH can now be stored under the driver’s seat and the space there is put to optimum use.
3. safety first
I often have expensive equipment with me and am sometimes out and about in extreme environments. You don’t want to be afraid that the battery will blow up in your face. The LiFePO4 batteries from Supervolt are super safe. They don’t overheat and are very stable. That gives me a good feeling, especially when I’m driving through hot deserts or cold mountain regions in my camper. No gases are also absolutely important, especially when the batteries are in the same room as myself.
4. efficiency and speed - always ready for the next shot
Sometimes you only have a small window of time to capture the perfect light or a special animal observation. Every minute counts. The LFP batteries are incredibly efficient and charge at lightning speed. With my 500W solar system, I can ensure that I always have enough power to run all my devices and capture unforgettable moments, even on trips lasting several weeks. During the trip, of course, additional via the alternator charged via the alternator. No more annoying charging breaks – just get going and take pictures!
5. environmental friendliness - good conscience included
As a nature photographer, the environment is particularly important to me. It feels good to know that the LFP batteries are more environmentally friendly than the old lead-acid models. They contain no harmful heavy metals and have a longer life, which means less waste. So I can do my bit to protect the nature I love so much.
6. perfect integration with solar systems
The combination of LFP batteries and a powerful solar system is unbeatable. During the day, I collect solar energy and store it efficiently in the batteries. Whether I’m out in the mountains, in the forest or in the desert, I always have enough power for all my devices. This allows me to focus on what really counts: the perfect shot.
