Supervolt supports sustainable mobility in Biberach
Since the beginning of 2023, the Biberach University of Applied Sciences its own sharing service called Zagga!. All students and employees of the university can rent bicycles, pedelecs and e-cargo bikes easily and simply via an app.
The two-wheelers can be used for business trips, but also privately – all free of charge. all free of charge. As this is a so-called station-based sharing service, all vehicles are located at fixed stations and can also be charged there. A new station has now been installed with lithium batteries from Supervoltlithium batteries.
The station is designed to be mobile and therefore naturally has to manage without an external power connection. The batteries on the station are therefore connected to a solar panel, guaranteeing that up to three e-bikes can be charged from 20 % to 80 % at the same time, even on shady days.
Two more stations with batteries from Supervolt will follow soon. This is how the Biberach University of Applied Sciences and Supervolt support sustainable mobility in the city and among its university members.
